The SunSpec Alliance Needs You
Companies and individuals interested in driving information standards for the renewable energy industry should join the SunSpec Alliance. Our objective is to accelerate the growth of the global renewable energy economy by enabling SunSpec Alliance members to leverage the benefits of automation, interoperability, economies of scale, and full participation in the development of the Smart Grid.

Choose Your Level Of Participation
SunSpec Alliance membership consists of four levels:
- Sponsor Membership is for industry stakeholders interested in helping to lead the SunSpec Alliance. SunSpec Sponsors are automatically appointed serve on the Board of Directors where they shape policy, lead committees, contribute directly in the creation of SunSpec specifications, and promote the goals of the organization to the maximum extent.
- Contributing Membership is primarily for component vendors, suppliers and other companies interested in defining compliant hardware and software products based on SunSpec specifications. Contributing Members may be elected to serve on the board, participate in the development of SunSpec specifications through committees and work groups, and utilize the SunSpec brand to promote their solutions in the marketplace.
- Supporting Membership is reserved for EPC’s, financiers, asset owners, and others who are interested in purchasing and deploying interoperable solutions based on SunSpec specifications. Supporting Members may also be elected to serve on the board, participate in committees and workgroups, and leverage the collective knowledge of SunSpec Alliance members.
- Individual Membership is for people interested in furthering the goals of the SunSpec Alliance and keeping abreast of the latest developments coming from the organization.
